Born in Toronto, Tamara began her violin studies in Aigle, Switzerland and soon after, was accepted as a student of Tibor Varga at the Tibor Varga Academy in Sion. At the age of nine, she performed a Mozart Concerto conducted by Maitre Tibor Varga at his summer festival. She pursued her studies at the age of twelve as a student of Maciej Rakowsky at the Yehudi Menuhin School which led her to perform as a soloist, quartet member and as a member of a small chamber ensemble in venues such as the Swiss Embassy in London, the Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Sheldonian Theatre, Mansion House, Royal College of Music and Wyastone Hall. At the age of sixteen, she became a student of Pierre Amoyal at the Lausanne Conservatory and a member of the Lausanne Camerata. She later became a student of Patrick Genet, first violin from the Sine Nomine Quartet and received, in June 2010, her Concert Diploma.

Tamara performed the Mendelssohn Concerto with the Ribeaupierre Orchestra in 2004 and Mozart 3rd Concerto with the Aigle Orchestra in 2007. She has performed in Festivals such as the Cully Classique, the Septembre Musical, the Portogruaro Festival, the Biarritz Festival, the Gstaad Festival and the Shlomo Mintz Festival.

Furthermore, she has participated in master classes with Dora Shwarzburg, Zvi Zeitlin, David Dolan, Gilles Apap, Alberto Lisy, Viktor Pikaysen, Mayumi Seiler and Ian Swensen.
