Born in a musical family, Gaëlle-Anne started the violin at the age of three. She studied in Paris, Geneva and London, where she lives now and enjoys a busy freelance career. After a year playing in Southbank Sinfonia in 2012, she enters Stephanie Gonley's class for an Artist Diploma course in Guildhall School of Music and Drama ; in parallel, she plays as a trialist in various famous UK orchestras, such as Royal Northern Sinfonia (leader of 2nd violins), Scottish Chamber Orchestra (co-leader of 2nd violins), Welsh National Opera (1st violin n°3, with occasional leading and co- leading). She also freelances regularly with the English Chamber Orchestra and Britten Sinfonia.

A keen chamber music player, Gaëlle-Anne forms a piano trio with her two sisters (the Michel trio, based in France).

Apart from violin, she studied theatre and meditation, and enjoys the mix of these three cultures in her everyday life and on stage.
